Anjou

Sleeps Bedrooms Bathrooms car Garden Pool
SLEEPS 2 1 1 ESSENTIAL PRIVATE SHARED

Affectionately known as the "Honeymoon Suite", this pretty cottage simply oozes character and charm with its traditional tuffeau stone façade, Anjou masquerades the stylish modernity within.

Entering in through the front door, the cosy, open plan living space draws you in. The fitted kitchen with all the "mod cons" makes it easy to cook up the perfect "dinner-a-deux". Indulge in a light lunch, fresh breakfast at sunrise (when you may catch a glimpse of the deer in the woodland), or BBQ under the stars.

With a sofa made for sharing, ensure romance is high on the agenda, from curling up fireside on a winters eve, to candlelit alfresco dining, or simply planning your next day's adventure.

A spacious bathroom has a walk in shower with body jets to give you a boost in the mornings, or refresh you after a day by the pool, soaking up the summer sun.

A wooden staircase leads to a large bedroom with king size bed, and a velux window perfectly located for you to lie in bed stargazing! Fall asleep to the sound of the owls, and awake well rested after a deep "fresh air" induced slumber.

Outside, hidden behind a stone wall and a wooden gate, you will find Anjou's private garden, surrounded by box hedging more than 100 years old.

In your words...

"What a lovely cottage! Absolutely perfect for 2 people. The owners have thought of everything , and the private garden was wonderful, although we did enjoy a few drinks over a game of boules with the 'neighbours' too! Will definitely recommend to friends and family."
